Fellowship award nominations announced for 2014

The Fellowship Award nominations have been announced, ahead of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing luncheon on 1 December.
Winning an award is a huge accolade for any member of hairdressing's leading body and categories cover all aspects of the hairdressing industry, from the unsung heroes working hard behind the scenes to the breathtaking imagery that reflects the industry on a global scale.
There are two categories of Award; those that are nominated by existing Fellowship members and those that are judged by members of the Fellowship Council and press.
Fellowship President Errol Douglas MBE said: "Nominations are vital and provide a great opportunity to recognize and reward the talent and creative excellence of our members, our peers and our mentors."
Shortlisted finalists for the pre-judged categories are as follows:
Terry Calvert Image of the Year
A single image that encapsulates creative excellence in hair, styling and photography.
Shaun Hall, Mark Leeson Hair, Body & Mind
Jake Unger, HOB Salons
Akin Konizi, HOB Salons
Fellowship Individual Salon Award
A
warded to an exceptional individual Fellowship salon that represents the highest standards of ongoing training, customer care and hairdressing skills.
Billi Currie
Michelle Griffin
Toni & Guy, Canary Wharf
Fellowship Salon Group of the Year Award
Awarded to an exceptional Fellowship salon group of two or more salons that represents the highest standards of ongoing training, customer care and hairdressing skills.

Headmasters
The Fellowship Award presentation will also name the recipients of their Fellow with Honours, Fellow with Distinction and Gold Medal titles, as well as the Unsung Hero Winner, Colour Project Winner, Project X Student Winner and the coveted Fellowship Hairdresser of the Year title and Lifetime Achievement Awards.
The 2015 FAME Team will also be revealed on the day.
