Essex Salon Group Feathers have launched a brand new Willy Wonka-style giveaway to help to give back to their local community and further afield. The new initiative, part of their 'giving back is the new black' campaign, will see 400 golden tickets - which can be exchanged for a free haircut - sent out to businesses across North Essex. All the salon group asks is that the golden ticket winners give a donation. that will go to St Helena Hospice, for their hair cut. Halstead salon manager Lauretta Wood say: "We don’t mind what people give, they can give as little as £1 if they like, we would like them to give £100 of course, but we really don’t mind. "It’s just for fun and our way of giving something back to the community. The team are really excited." Other initiatives in the campaign include giving raffle prizes to charities and public causes in the area, taking part in the Run for LIfe and Managing Director Jeff Letter planning a trek to the top of Mount Kilimanjiro.
