How long have you been working backstage at shows?

How did you get into working at Fashion Week?
Through my contacts within the fashion industry. HOB are also product partners with Wella Professionals so I've had further opportunities to work at fashion week since joining the company. If it's something you really want to get in to, you'll find a way!
What's your favourite thing about working at fashion week?
Seeing, touching and experiencing the season's trends before the rest of the world. I love the adrenaline and pressure that comes with working at FW and the hype of backstage work.
What look do you predict we'll be seeing a lot of?
I think for SS12 the ponytail will reinvent itself yet again!
What's your fashion week kit bag essential?
It would have to be Super Set Hairspray for long lasting hold and Perfect Setting for ideal control, both from Wella Professional's Care & Style range. With models having their hair styled a lot over the week, SP's Deep Cleanser Shampoo is another must-have to remove product build-up and really clean the hair!
What shows are you doing this season?
At the moment I have been confirmed for Topshop and I'm still waiting to confirm more. It's likely that I will be working with the Wella Professional hair team on the shows they're covering too. It should be good and exciting season!
Best advice for surviving fashion week?
Drink lots of coffee and sleep very little!
