Johnnie Sapong and the Wella Professionals team created structured glamour for Naomi Campbell's all-star celebrity catwalk show, Fashion for Relief 2015.
The show: Fashion for Relief 2015
The hair team: Johnnie Sapong for Wella Professionals
The look: Slicked back chignons with a small, tight headshape
The inspiration: The refined elegance of Helmut Newton and Guy Bourdin photos, with a high-shine finish to reflect the gloss of the statement red lip worn by each model and the shine in the predominantly gold outfits.
Get the Look
1. Prep hair with mousse and thickening lotion and blow-dry hair back away from the face for a tight, clean finish worn close to the head.
2. Pull hair back into a low ponytail and wrap around into a classic, tight chignon.
3. Finish by painting a heavy, high-shine gel on top with a brush.
4. For male models, style hair in a side-parting and groom with gel for a similar high-shine, sharp finish.
