The 2027 F.A.M.E. Team Finals at Salon International
With a coveted place on the 2027 team up for grabs, the pressure was on as the eight finalists stepped into the spotlight to impress a judging panel featuring some of the industry's most respected names.
The panel included Christel Barron-Hough, Lesley Jennison, Andy Smith, Sally Brooks, Marlon Hawkins, Carolyn Chapman, Jayson Gray, Paula Grocock, Adrian Paoluccio and Mimi Kobaysahi, who watched alongside a live audience as the finalists tackled two creative challenges.
First up, the Trends Stage played host to a fast-paced styling challenge, with finalists given just 20 minutes to transform long hair into striking hair-up creations. And they certainly didn't disappoint! From imaginative felt-inspired looks to intricate beaded braids and textured styles, the challenge showcased an impressive mix of creativity, technical ability and individuality.
For Round Two, it was time for the finalists to let their personal style shine. Each was tasked with presenting a two-minute show that brought their vision of hair fashion and future trends to life. Taking centre stage, the finalists talked the judges through their creative concepts, finished looks and the techniques behind them, demonstrating not only their hairdressing skills but also their confidence and presentation abilities.
The result? A fantastic celebration of creativity, artistry and, of course, some seriously incredible hair.
