Extremes combine at paris fashion week

This week has seen the Haute Couture shows in Paris and as clothes were from different ends of the spectrum, so was the hair. Over at Jean-Paul Gaultier, clothes were figure-hugging and colourful with sculpured shapes sitting on the head. Large cones and twisted shapes were in abundance and actually complemented the tribal-like clothes. Uber-long braids nestled under large exaggerated hats. And braids were also on show over at the Elie Saab show, be it in a slightly more commercial and pretty way. Long hair was braided along the hairline framing the face and adding a focus to long wavy tresses.
