BaByliss Pro's favourite session stylist Syd Hayes is inviting attendees to explore the world of shoot work and backstage session-styling at Babyliss Pro’s Session to Salon show during Salon International on Monday 15 of October.
He will give a rare insight into his personal creative journey from his years of experience both on set and backstage at many fashion weeks.
Syd will share what happens ahead of a fashion week show and how a creative idea transforms into a finished look by designing mood-boards, carrying out model castings, clothes styling, working with photographers and actually creating the hairstyle.
The show will be split into five different sections, each representing a different part of Syd’s world. Some of the biggest trends and standout looks from Fashion Week will be brought back to life live on stage to demonstrate how session stylists work with designers to create what you see on the runway.
Avant Garde looks that'll feature in the show will pay homage to some of the more conceptual campaigns Syd has worked on throughout his career where he has headed up the hair for campaigns with Vogue, Love, Allure and Marc Jacobs Beauty.
