Errol Douglas hosted his first President's Night for the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, combining fashion, fundraising and the 21st birthday of the FAME Team.
Kicking off the evening with a presentation of models, Errol then welcomed guests to the grand venue for the evening, 8 Northumberland Avenue.
"This is a venue steeped in history," he said. "Which makes it the perfect location to celebrate the heritage of hairdressing and 21 years of the FAME Team."
As a member of the second-ever FAME Team and president of the Fellowship, Errol was ideally placed to present a video montage of other former members of the illustrious hairdressing training programme. Leading industry names including Antoinette Beenders, Zoe Irwin and Jamie Stevens all paid their respects to what is widely regarded as the world's leading 'finishing school' for hairdressers in an impressive look back on the team's 21-year history.

In a further celebration of the future of hairdressing,
the Cristofer Mann Step Up and Shine Scholarship was also awarded. A joint initiative from the Fellowship for British Hairdressing and The National Hairdressers’ Federation to provide a student with a year's free education, the scholarship was awarded to two students owing to the high standard of entry;
Hannah Pettinger from NJUK Beautiful Hair, Chesterfield and Ollie Vines from Heaven Hair, Salisbury.
Two further awards on the night were presented by HABB, the industry charity which cares for hair and beauty professionals in need. The
HABB Fundraising Award was presented to
Q Hair and Beauty in Chichester and the
President's Award went to
Daniel Galvin.
