An evening of cut and colour inspiration awaited guests a the latest Electric Sessions in partnership with Calligraphy Cut
Hosted by founder Mark Woolley at Electric Space in London, the event featured the Electric Art Team presenting summer brunette trends, while Chis Grimley and Cammey Gallacher shared cutting tips using their Calligraphy Cut pen-like cutting tool – instant texture through the ends and a soft on-trend, wearable mullet.
Mark explained that Electric Sessions were designed as bite-size, relevant events for modern hairdressing. “If you’re not exciting your clients, they will go somewhere else, so whether it’s an interesting colour or adding a fringe, shake it up and get them excited about their hair.”
Brunette Trends and E-Colour
During the session, Darren Webster and Tom Pike introduced upcoming brunette trends using Electric London E-Colour. The looks featured cool espresso browns with iced brown and ash tones through the ends, creating a lighter, sun-kissed effect.
“Summer colour is about lived-in, wearable colour that grows out as beautifully as when it is first applied,” said Darren. “Brunettes are definitely having a moment this summer and with the right placement and tone, your clients will love the effortless but luxurious feeling they have in their hair all season.”
Tom added: “While your clients may want to go slightly lighter for the summer, don’t forget about depth and richness."

Calligraphy Cut Demonstrations
Chris and Cammey then demonstrated the Calligraphy Cut pens on long hair. The tool created instant texture through the ends and a soft, wearable mullet.
