Electric London recently held its first Global Summit in its Brighton head-quarters with guests attending from across the UK, America and Canada. The four-day event incorporated an action filled itinerary incorporating look and learn seminars, educational events, creative photoshoot and networking.
Hosted by Electric London’s founder and international creative director,
Mark Woolley. The summit took place at Electric’s renovated Great Thatched Barn, at Falmer Court; a spacious barn surrounded by acres of beautiful land.
Falmer Court is the future Electric HQ, encompassing the Electric London Studio, Education Academy and offices. The event welcomed Electric salon teams and stockists from across the UK, plus salon distributors and salon stockists from the USA and Canada.
On the first day, guests were invited to an Electric London shoot day, which was directed by Mark Woolley. Attendees had the chance to create professional imagery on a full working shoot, with professional models and photographer
Kenny McCracken.
The second day was all about the Electric Summer Sessions party held in the grandiose Great Thatched Barn– a one day festival themed party with hundreds of hairdressers, journalists and industry influencers dancing the night away.

On the summit Mark said, “Over the past ten years, Electric London has become a global business brand; this Global Summit was the ideal time to invite our growing family in the USA and Canada to experience Electric London in its own home.
We worked hard to develop an itinerary that really gave our guests a feel for the Electric Family, pushed their creativity, inspired them to share our philosophy with their own team when they returned, and of course, experience the great British lifestyle."
On the third day, guests joined the Electric Team for the Electric Summer Sessions. The Electric London Art Team and Mark Woolley presented stylish looks expected to make an appearance this season and how to bring these looks into salon. The team covered cutting, hair ups, styling and colour using the Electric Professional Products to demonstrate the looks.
The final day saw guests attend a personal seminar with renowned educator
DJ Muldoon, based in LA, and Mark with the Electric London Artistic Team. DJ took centre stage to demonstrate his hair cutting methods, Knowledge Destroys Fears, whilst the experienced Electric London team presented their latest hair styling techniques and trends.
