Stylists from all six Electric Hair salons were recently invited to enter the annual Electric Competition, presenting complete model looks to a panel of judges.
Each member of the team entered a model into one of six categories covering men's hair, styling and editorial, avant garde, colour, first year assistant and senior assistant.
As well as creating a winning hair look, stylists had to consider makeup and outfit choice, before presenting their model to a panel headed up by creative director of Electric Hair, Mark Woolley.
He said: "Competitions are something that I think are essential in the progression of a hairdresser's career because every time you showcase your work at its best, it makes you a better hairdresser. Doing it live is more important because there's no room for retouching once you are finished.
"I was blown away by the standard of the work presented this year across all categories. It was a very fun and exciting day for all involved, with a real buzz in the atmosphere, in both the studio areas and for those observing."
The finalists' award ceremony will take place in spring with a champagne reception, where a winner from each category will be announced and awarded with a bespoke Electric trophy.
