The team from é Salon in Wahroonga won Australian Salon Team at the 2015 Hair Expo Awards for images from their Fluidity and Virtuality collections, shot by Robert Lobetta. According to Creative Director, Emiliano Vitale, "To win this award for the second time in 3 years is fantastic - there’s nothing like the feeling of being crowned the number one salon team in Australia and New Zealand by a panel of your peers. It’s a huge testament to the commitment, the dedication and the skills of every é SALON team member. "As a creative team our commitment is to expand our horizons, support our industry locally whilst bringing our unique ideas and concepts to the industry globally." And it wasn't just the team that were awarded on the night. Salon director Lisa Muscat won her fifth title in five years, taking the prize for Emerging Hairdresser of the Year. "To have a team member win an individual Hair Expo award, not to mention our brilliant team award, is an indescribable feeling," adds Emiliano. "Our team consists of some of the most talented, driven and passionate hairdressers I know. It confirms to me exactly what our salon philosophy is – Dream. Believe. Achieve. Whatever you dream, backed by belief and constant action, anything is possible." Next on the team’s creative calendar is the Alternative Hair Show in London in October, where they will present their interpretation of the show theme, Aurora, in support of the charity, Fighting Leukaemia.
