Doctor who - style icon?

With Peter Capaldi named the 12th Doctor Who, everyone is wondering what type of Doctor he will be. Over the past 50 years there have been many different characteristics to the Doctor - eccentric, intellectual, emotional and physical.

They have all also had their own style - and everyone fondly remembers their first Doctor Who. For me Tom Baker will always be the best, with his soft curls and technicolour oversized knitted scarf.

Doctor Who has always been in fashion because he has never gone out of fashion - while Colin Baker embraced the colourful 1980s, Christopher Eccleston brought a touch of rock and roll with his short hair and leather jacket.
