Denman international announce the winner of 2016 stage star competition.

Evangeline Barrett of Blondz Hair Salon, Weymouth was has been announced as the winner of the Denman International Stage Star competition which took place at this year's Salon International. In her second year of reaching the final, Evangeline pitched against three other finalists; Elisha Didymas, Johnny Gorman and Hollie Watson who all had 25 minutes to create a finished look on the HJ Stage in front of a live audience as well as competition judges; International Stage Artist Christiano Lanza, leading PR consultant Louise Wood, HJ’s Mary Forester and Denman’s Karen Batley. Finalists had to present their model As the winner of the 2016 Denman Stage Star Competition, Evangeline will be invited to join Denman on an all-expenses-paid trip to work on their stage at the International Beauty Show (IBS) in New York in March 2017 as well as a whole host of money-can't-buy creative opportunities throughout the year. Speaking on behalf of Denman, Karen Batley highlighted the difficulty in selecting a winner, “They were all so good; we could have taken any one of them to New York and be confident that they would deliver on stage.” She adds, “For me though, Evangeline just had the edge.  Her confidence, her knowledge and her work couldn’t be faulted.” With last year's winner, Nicole Dodd having enjoyed an exceptional year in 2015, Evangeline can look forward to an exciting and amazing year ahead.
