Dawn french welcomes back her famous fringe

Dawn French took to Instagram at the weekend to welcome back her famous fringe after a series of incredible hair transformations. The comedian posted a selfie, taken in her car, thanking hairstylist Anthony Keast (of Saco Hair, London) for helping her welcome back her familiar fringe. For most of her career The Vicar of Dibley star has sported a classic, brunette bob and fringe however, like most clients, that all changed during lockdown when she decided to embrace her natural grey hair colour and a choppy pixie cut. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cg5bJEwqx4t/ Since then, Dawn has continued to experiment with edgier styles including an undercut and the addition of an impressive quiff just two months ago. https://www.instagram.com/p/CfD1cH_Lq4P/ Dawn recently told Good Housekeeping magazine: “The real trigger came during the lockdowns when I was dying my hair myself, and I just couldn’t be bothered to keep doing it, so I let my natural grey come through." Even more alarmingly, she revealed she also cut some of it herself! Yet to reveal the rest of her new style, Dawn teased that she was tempted to return to her old hairstyle: "I'm curious to see what the bob might look like with a good strong grey." We love that Dawn has not only embraced her natural greys but has also showed that clients can rock striking, new hairstyles. Going grey is a pivotal moment in a client's life and we're sure that Dawn has inspired her fans to find the fun with cool cuts and an open mind.
