PASTEL GREY

'Pastels are going nowhere, and for the new season they’re getting bolder and the freshest way to wear pastels is in shades of grey.

Bold grey elements were key to the Davines SHINE collection, which I created in collaboration with Davines Artistic Director and three-times British Hairdresser of the Year, Angelo Seminara.

Taking inspiration from metal, the SHINE collection showcases beautiful shades of intense grey and iridescent silver, created using the innovative Davines Flamboyage colouring technique, and the Davines Mask colour range.

Maintain the intensity of grey locks with Davines Alchemic Silver Shampoo and Alchemic Silver Conditioner.'

EARTHY, NATURAL TONES

'The overall beauty theme for Spring/Summer 2016 was au natural: models were encouraged to wear their hair in its most natural form and their own styles were embraced.

At Valentino and Versace, the trend for embracing natural beauty translated into earthy shades and muted tones: plenty of mousey brown locks, natural-looking highlights and pale baby-blonde manes.

Enhance naturally mousey shades with Davines A New Colour and maintain the look at home using Davines Alchemic Tobacco Shampoo and Alchemic Tobacco Conditioner.

To embrace the natural look further, use Davines Your Hair Assistant Volume Creator, to give the hair plenty of volume, a matt finish and a naturally un-done, morning-after look.'

INKY

'A look that we usually associate with the winter months, ultra-dark locks was the unexpected hair trend of Spring/Summer 16.

Inky shades were everywhere: Vera Wang’s models wore statement black wigs, Louis Vuitton embraced blue-black and at Givenchy dark, glossy shades of chocolate and ebony, were worn slicked down, with a severe centre parting and bleached white eyebrows to further enhance the darkness.

Use the Davines Alchemic Silver range at home, to neutralise any warmth within natural and coloured black hair, so the colour stays intense and the hair is kept nourished and glossy.

Blunt cut bangs and linear cuts will further enhance the striking quality of these shades, as showcased in the Davines SHINE collection.'
