Daniel Galvin has unveiled a new addition to his salon at the Corinthia Hotel in London; the Movie Make-Over Room.

A new destination for the movie, media ans music industries, the Movie Make-Over Room is available 24/7 and offers 100% privacy to visiting celebrities and guests looking for something a cut above the usual salon experience.

Separated from the main salon floor and accessed through an almost invisible door, the new salon incorporates the experience of celebrated colourist, Daniel Galvin and Oscar-winning make-up artist, Lois Burwell.

State-of-the-art technology has been installed to recreate industry-standard lighting, ranging from HD camera to outdoor lighting, ensuring the finished hair and beauty results look perfect in every potential situation. 

Celebrating the influence of Hollywood, the room also features a library of over 100 iconic movies which can be used as a reference by stylists and guests alike. Other features include a full food and drinks menu, WiFi, docking stations, private phone line an Skype facilities to allow guests to continue with their day-to-day business and personal appointments while in the room.

As well as offering a luxurious experience for celebrities and clients looking for some private pampering, the room also provides the perfect option for clients whose religion or culture necessitates privacy when exposing their hair, wig fittings and intimate bridal parties.

Lois says: "When looking at the needs of the Movie Make-Over Room, our inspiration came from the private salons of the old-school Hollywood studios. I wanted to have access to all the tools of the trade, correct power and adapters and the right lights and atmosphere too. It's a tailor-made facility for make-up and hair to come to life."
