Cutting room creative styles leeds fashion week

The team from Cutting Room Creative in Leeds recently styled hair for Leeds Fashion Week, held at Leeds Town Hall.The Dress Me Beautiful show featured upcoming creative talent, encouraging the upcoming designers of the future.
Behind the scenes the Cutting Room Creative Style Team, led by Karen Dodds, styled 30 models for the show with a mix of quiffs, high and low buns, sleek ponytails and backcombed beehives.
Karen said: "It was an honour being asked to work for the Leeds Fashion Show, as we are very keen on endorsing local brands and supporting local initiatives and talent. For inspiration, we studied the Spring/Summer fashion trends for 2013 - we were looking for styles that were simple, but effective and complemented the clothes in the show. We also had to identify styles that would be versatile. The quiffs and ponytails will be big for next season and are ideal for quick changes so we could go from day-wear to nightwear in an instant"
