Creations hair and beauty in chichester break rowing record

The team from Creations Hair & Beauty in Chichester have broken the record for rowing the Solent Marathon; 26 miles from the British mainland to the Needles in the Isle of Wight. Having been thwarted in their previous attempt to row the English Channel by the French authorities, the team decided to tackle a new challenge - which ended up being longer than their original route. The team successfully completed the route in 4 hours and two minutes - smashing the record time by over half an hour. This challenge is the latest in the salon's fundraising endeavors for CoCo's Foundation, with the eventual aim of raising £13,500 to build a house for a family in South Africa. Emma Baines, organiser of the challenge and manager of Creations says: "We have hosted a tremendous amount of events for the CoCo’s Foundation, and many other events in the past for other charities, this is by far the biggest challenge any of us have undertaken!"
