Graeme and Jackie Hamilton experienced more teething problems than most when trying to get their Couper & Co salon up and running. Hindered by the discovery of a safe room with 18 inch thick walls and being refused permission to have a skip to remove their rubbish, they set about a complete revamp to create an open-plan look. After months of hard graft and sticking to their "while first place exists we shall never accept second" mantra they unveiled their dream salon.
