The five lucky chosen stylists will embark on an incredible 12-month creative journey with four inspiring mentors who have been selected for their specific expertise. The mentoring team comprises Michael Gray who will be the digital mentor, Jordanna Cobella – the creative colour mentor, Syd Hayes who will focus on session styling, and the education mentor, Nikki Clifford who will prepare the team for educating the next generation of hairdressers. This incredible group will mentor you to develop your skills, build your profile and share their invaluable experiences. Being part of Wella Professionals' GenNOW team will open doors to a wide range of educational opportunities and on-stage platform work at some of the industry’s biggest events. With the opportunity to have bespoke sessions with the mentoring team, GenNOW is the perfect launchpad for any aspiring hairdresser. Mentor Jordanna Cobella believes this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. “GenNOW is the most incredible platform for any hairdresser who has three to eight years experience and who are hungry to take their career to the next level. We’re going to have a great time getting creative and hopefully taking their skills to a whole new dimension. I am delighted to be one of the mentor’s and am excited to meet the new team and get started,” she said. How to enter
Hopeful candidates can demonstrate their interest from 1 March 2022 via Instagram. You simply need to:- Show examples of your work on Instagram (pictures or video in a carousel swipe post - stories not accepted).
- Add some information about yourself, your passions, and explain why you want to be on the GenNOW Team.
- Use the hashtag #WellaGenNOW and tag @wellahairUKI. Successful entries will then go through to the audition stage at the Wella studios, where you will be judged by the mentors.
