Costume national autumn/winter 2015: get the hair look Costume National AutumnWinter 2015 Get the Hair Look Costume National AutumnWinter 2015 Get the Hair Look 2 James Pecis and the Moroccanoil team were inspired by 90s French style for the Costume National Autumn/Winter 2015 show at Milan Fashion Week. The show: Costume National Autumn/Winter 2015 The hair team: James Pecis for Moroccanoil The look: Two looks; one side-parted loose wave down style and one tied bun secured with black leather and feathers. The inspiration: "After revisiting the Costume National archive and studying the Costume National woman over the years, I was inspired by her evolution and wanted to create a hairstyle that combined the late 90s with class French-chic style," says James. "Charlotte Gainsbourg was a big inspiration for the first look – hair down with a soft wave – while the second look captures the late ‘90’s with rough texture and black leather and feather accessories." The key product: Moroccanoil Root Boost Get the Looks Look 1 1. Apply Moroccanoil Root Boost to dry hair, working from root-to-tip. 2. Blow-dry hair using the Moroccanoil Boar Bristle Classic Brush. 3. Using a 1" barrel curling iron, create a loose, textured curl by wrapping 1" sections around the barrel. Alternate directions as you go until the entire head is complete. 4. Brush through the curls with a Moroccanoil Boar Bristle Classic Brush to loosen the curls and create a natural, undone finish. 5. Finish by misting Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray onto your palms and gently flatten down flyaways with your hands. Then lightly apply a pea-sized drop of Moroccanoil Treatment Light to the ends. Look 2 1. Apply Moroccanoil Root Boost to damp hair from roots to mid-lengths and blow-dry the hair using your fingertips to create lift and texture. 2. Next, apply a small amount of Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse to palms and claw through the front and the top of the head to create texture and piece-y separation. 3. Loosely pull hair into a chignon at the centre back of the head and secure with an elastic, leaving ends free. 4. Tie in the black feather with leather strip and finish with a mist of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray for long-lasting hold and runway-ready shine. galleryWidgetDec14
