Colour House International Ltd has recently announced that it will be taking over the global distribution of TIGI’s Copyright Colour as of 1 January 2022. The new deal will be led by Simon Ostler and his experienced industry team who will ensure the continuation of its global placement after TIGI ceases to supply it at the end of the year.
Simon, former European managing director for TIGI, and his team are said to offer a vast knowledge of the professional salon business alongside an appreciation of the brand’s extensive heritage, culture and values.
On the new deal, Simon explained, ‘We believe this exciting new chapter for the brand will ensure business continuity for the loyal salon and distribution network and we are greatly encouraged by the high level of enthusiasm and commitment from Copyright Colour clients around the world, who have already shown a strong willingness to come on this exciting journey with us.”
He continued: “TIGI has such heritage within the hairdressing industry. The Mascolo family truly created a brand that captured the very essence of hairdressing. The brand caught the imagination of both the stylist and consumer and quickly became a global household name. Led by education and creativity, ‘By hairdressers, for hairdressers’ was a game changing strategy.”
According to Simon, Colour House International Ltd will look after the global supply of Copyright Colour and continue with a high quality colour portfolio, as well as launching a support programme for salons alongside competitive pricing and a strong education, creative and business package.
Other news includes that the deal will be supported by Anthony and Pat Mascolo and their Library Space Creative Team to “build on the brand”.
