Barrie Stephen had a clear objective for his salon in the upmarket town Ashby de la Zouch: "I wanted to create the most upmarket and talked-about salon in town," he explains.
The salon, the fourth in his eponymously-named salon group, was previously two inter-connecting shops, which Barrie and salon interior designer Melvyn Allen had to strip back in order to create the perfect canvas.
The salon itself uses a neutral colour scheme that is complemented by walnut veneers on the walls and polished stainless steel detail for a elegant and spacious feel.
