Concept Learner of the Year 2024 Winners Announced
Concept Hair announced its winners following the Learner of the Year 2024 Final.
Held at Telford College on 21 March, 54 finalists, whittled down from more than 2,400 entries from across the country, blew away the audience and judges with their skill and artistry.
The Concept Team is thrilled to announce that the 2024 Concept Hair Learner of the Year is
Kelly Edwards from The Grimsby Institute.
Kelly also won her category, which was the first-ever Textured Hair category for the competition.

The event was not just a competition but a celebration of the future stars of our industry. It
provided opportunities for learners to network, learn from industry-leading brands at the
Education Stage, and be inspired by their peers’ skills, vision, and talent.
Dom Lehane, Founder and Presenter of the leading hair industry podcast 'How To Cut It', served as the guest compere this year, adding a touch of charisma and expertise to the event.
The panel of judges had a challenging task of selecting the winners from a pool of highly talented finalists.
