Concept Hair is proud to announce the 54 finalists for the Concept Hair Learner of the Year 2024. These talented individuals have been selected through a rigorous photographic entry process, judged by a panel of top industry experts, and will now compete in the Grand Final at Telford College on 21 March.
This year’s Grand Final will be expertly compered by Dom Lehane from How To Cut IT, the leading hair industry podcast in the UK and Ireland.
The 54 finalists comprise six finalists from each of the following nine categories, showcasing a wide range of skills and creativity:
- Styling – Level 1 – Boho
- Styling – Level 2 – Boho
- Hair Up – Level 2 – Day at the Races
- Hair Up – Level 3 – Day at the Races
- Barbering – Level 2 – Street Style
- Barbering – Level 3 – Street Style
- Colouring – All Levels – Colour Creativity
- Textured Hair – Levels 2 and 3 – Floral Nature
- Avant Garde – Levels 2 and 3 – Carnival
Now in its fifth year, the competition is headline sponsored by L’Oréal Professionnel Paris and is supported by other industry brands including Alan Howard, Denman, Diva, Wahl, WIG, The Fellowship for British Hairdressing, HTCI Platform and VTCT, all contributing significantly to showcasing the UK’s most promising hairdressing and barbering students.
