Colour room walks the walk

Staff from The Colour Room salon in Stockport recently took part in the 10km Twilight Walk around Manchester city centre, raising more than £1,000 for breast cancer research charity, The Genesis Appeal. Friends, family and clients of The Colour Room provided sponsorship and extra money was raised in the salon by raffling a luxury hamper of hair appliances and products, as well as all staff donating their tips from the busy Saturday before the walk. Lauren Arstall, junior stylist from The Colour Room who organised the team event said: “I am very proud of all my colleagues who took part to support this great charity and very grateful for the generosity of our clients who really boosted the amount we were able to raise.”
