An esteemed panel of judges have narrowed down hundreds of entries from around the country to produce the shortlist for this year's
Clynol Awards.
The judges, including
Schwarzkopf national technical manager Mark Todd,
Indola technical manager Shane Meadows, and hairdressers Ross Taylor of
Falltricks and Anne Veck of
Anne Veck Hair, gathered at Clynol's London Academy on Monday 14th January to set about the difficult task.
Speaking about the high standard of entries, marketing specialist and fellow judge Jenny Paul said: "Young Stylist of the Year was very challenging to judge, it's so refreshing to have a new category like this, and great for salons who don't normally get involved with photography.
"Very encouraging. I love judging these awards, Clynol accounts are so free-thinking - I love it, it's right out of the box!"
The winners will be announced in March when there are some top prizes including trophies, cash prizes and tickets to major events such as the
British Hairdressing Awards and the
British Hairdressing Business Awards up for grabs.
