Clubstar learn from the toni&guy team ClubStar Learn from TONI&GUY Team The first ClubStar event of 2015 took place at the TONI&GUY Academy, as the super-salon brand delivered an inspiring evening of cut, colour and session skills to 60 members. Introduced by the new ClubStar South project leader, Adam Bryant of Ethos Hairdressing, the TONI&GUY Future Foundations team and international educational manager for Label M, Gary France wowed the crowd with an array of skills. Presenting eight looks, the first half of the evening focussed on fundamental skills across cutting, colouring and hair up while the second half concentrated on the current Lexicon collection, with advanced gents and session editorial skills reflecting fashion week looks. As the younger members of TONI&GUY, the Future Foundation team are making their way up the ranks to the renowned Art Team, making them the perfect group to inspire their ClubStar peers. Reflecting on the first show of the year, Adam said: "The beautiful colour work was not only approached in a creative way but the very interesting and impactful colour choices were still very salon friendly. And as we know and expect with TONI&GUY, their long hair work wasn't just interesting but also very beautiful. What a great start to the New Year and the beginning of our tenure heading up ClubStar." ClubStar is the youth membership programme of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing that recognises young talent and offers opportunities for its members. It is exclusively for hair professionals aged 16 to 25 and supports the pursuit of improved standards and NVQ/SVQ education. It gives members the opportunity to meet, share ideas and develop creativity, while engaging with events, competitions and educational workshops. galleryWidgetDec14
