Clipso young superstars 2008
Every year the Clipso Young Superstars awards celebrate the crème de la crème of Clipso and Addiction trainees.
This year didn't disappoint with each entrant presenting a complete look model along with a two minute presentation detailing the concept and techniques behind each look.
An impressive judging panel consisted of Steve Rowbottom of West Row Hairdressing, Jo O'Neill, International Technical Director for Toni & Guy, Johnny Engstrom, Art Director for Guy Kremer and PR guru Samantha Grocutt.
The competition was split into three categories - NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3. The lucky winners were presented with a certificate to show off their talents and were treated to a Selfridges voucher.
And the winners were....
First Year winner - Natasha Howard, Clipso Hemel Hempstead
Second Year winner - Freya Haines, Clipso London
Third Year winner - Stella Czarnecki, Clipso Watford
The prestigious Young Superstar Overall Award went to Freya Haines who won a trip to Barcelona courtesy of L'Oréal Professionnel.
Terry Calvert, managing director of the Clipso group, was brimming with pride at the groups' achievements.
"Each year our trainees give us more and more to be proud of," he said.
"These competitions are important for team morale and enable us to create that strong team spirit and talented hairdressing that Clipso is renowned for."
