Clipso celebrated its talented young assistants and trainees with its annual Young Superstars Awards with awards handed out by TIGI global creative director, Nick Irwin, and Andrew Collinge.
Pitting the newest stars of the salon group against each other, trainees from first to third year level each presented a complete look on a model with the second and third years also giving a two-minute presentation to explain their concept and techniques.
Winners were presented with £150 of vouchers and a certificate, with Nick and Andrew on hand to give out the prizes and lend some knowledge from their years of educational experience.
Julia Webb, senior educator of the Clipso training academy commented: "I am so proud of our entire first, second and third year apprentices, this year the level of work was of the highest standards. At Clipso we're very proactive when it comes to education as we know these youngsters are the future of the salon group and I am in charge of everyone's training within our academy. After today's Young Superstar Awards I can safely say the future looks very bright for Clipso and I know each of the assistants will excel in all areas."
