Christmas retailing

I started my Christmas shopping yesterday and there is only one word to describe it -- exhausting! As I rushed from shop to shop trying to find the must-have gifts for kids and hubby, I longed for an hour of pampering and relaxation. And even better, I could have done my shopping at the same time. This is the perfect time of year for salons to be retailing gift sets and ensuring clients can buy their favourite products . If someone had approached me yesterday while enjoying a Starbucks and tried to sell me a bag of coffee I would probably have bought it for someone. The same is in the salon -- while clients are relaxed you can take some of the stress out of Christmas shopping and retail beautiful gift box sets -- receiving your favourite shampoo with a candle or bottle of wine is a great stocking filler. If you don't offer this you are missing out -- so what are you waiting for! ruthx
