Charity bike ride - a real challenge

Bike 2.JPGWhen the owner of Saks Chester, Nikki Hughes, decided to undertake a 1,000 mile motorbike and sidecar ride around the UK for the HAIRraising charity, she took on more than she bargained for.

First her original partner in the ride had to drop out at the last minute, then, on day one, she ran out of petrol , crashed into a hedge and damaged the bike! Not one to be deterred, Nikki resorted to riding her usual motorbike, and set off again.

Nikki's tour took in Saks salons in Glasgow, Leeds, Sheffield and the London academies.

The good news is, Nikki finally managed to raise £1,700 for the charity.
