As the month-long calendar of Spring/Summer 2012 fashion shows comes to a close, we take a look at some of the stars showcasing their style on the front row.

Proving that sensational style isn't limited to models strutting their stuff on the catwalks, A-list stars on the front row provide just as much inspiration for the new season.

Here are some of our favourite looks from the front rows at New York Fashion Week...

Iman
"I love Iman's classically chic style and effortlessly elegant colour. She's rocking this season's must-have deep roots gradually blending to an on-trend shade of silvery blonde, which has been kept cool to suit her skin tone. Root-shadowing graduating through to block colour continues to be an A-list favourite, as seen on the likes of Jessica Biel, Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore."

Kelly Osbourne
"Kelly has built up a signature look with her vintage styles, but I feel she's lacking the perfection this look demands. There's a fine line between creating a soft, flowing look and one that just looks undone. I would tighten the sides to bring out her cheekbones and create more of a polished wave through the fringe. The slick, hard sides contrasting with the softness of the top would give the look a modern edge. With the colour, Kelly needs to even out the tone. I would opt for a soft, salmon-peach tone to set off the style with shine and glamour."
Dafydd Rhys, Ken Picton, Cardiff

Porcelain Black
"Monochromatic colours are ideal for giving definition and edge to a simple cut or style. The impact of the two block shades on the centre parting creates a strong, dramatic effect, giving Porcelain the perfect front-row pizzazz. To vary this look, it would be interesting to use tonal shades through the colours. Adding a blue tone through the black and pastel violet shades through the white would create a more dimensional look without softening the impact."

Nicki Minaj
"For me, Nicki's style is taking the fashionista image just a little too far! All she really needs to do to make this look wearable but still create an impact is tone down the bow and make-up and ease off the curls slightly. On the plus side, the fringe is great and is the perfect accessory for this season and I love the colours, too - the muted soft pinks are bang on-trend."
