Want to learn how to turn London Fashion Week hair trends into salon-friendly styles?
With the help of
ghd, we're showing you exactly how you can take the
Spring/Summer 2015 looks from catwalk to client, starting with the soft wave as seen at
Lucas Nascimento.
Using the the
ghd curve classic curl tong from the new
ghd curve range, we'll show you how to create long, narrow, curls, inspired by this cool-girl catwalk trend.
ghd UK brand ambassador Kenna created a fusion of textures, from wet to dry, for the runway show. Want to get the look? Just follow the steps below!

1. Working in sections, wrap the hair flat around the ghd curve classic curl tong to create long, narrow, curls.
TOP TIP: To allow the movement to remain just in the mid-length section of the hair, do not wrap the last 2-3 inches around the tong, letting the? ends drop off straight.
For more interest, add the slick, wet texture as seen at Lucas Nascimento by prepping the hair as below before adding the soft wave;
1. Start by applying ghd style straight and smooth spray to dry hair to create a healthy, high-sheen gloss.
2. Next, working in sections, apply ghd style total volume foam to the roots, starting at the base of the head and working upwards.
3. Use a ghd tail comb to guide the hair flat to the head, from the hair line to the base.
4. To personalize the look, use a ghd detangling comb and a ghd oval dressing brush to sculpt the hair around the face as a continuation of the brow line, scooping around the ears and edging hair towards the back of the head.
5. To fix this wet look in place, use the ghd aura hairdryer to harden the foam, then spray with ghd style final fix hairspray.
See Kenna bring the look to life in the video below!
