British hairdressing business awards 2012 criteria

To enter HJ's British Hairdressing Business Awards you need to submit a written presentation that clearly answers the criteria for the category you are entering.

Business Director of the Year

A business director/s is the person who is the driving force behind a top hairdresser or salon. He/she would have developed new ideas and strategies for the business and will have moved the salon/hairdresser forward by demonstrating forward thinking, entrepreneurial business skills that maximise on the media opportunities available.

(A joint entry may consist of a maximum of three directors)

The entry should cover the following and should include evidence to justify any claims made:

To enter this award you will need to provide evidence of how your customer care policy has contributed to your success.

This category is open to salon managers or anyone who manages a team within a salon. The entry must be based on managing a single salon.

Entrants to this category must have either redesigned an existing salon or designed a new salon in the last 18 months. The new or redesigned salon must have been trading for a minimum of six months by the end of June 2012.

Front of House Team of the Year

 

This award is for the often unsung heroes in the salon who are the first and last contact the client has with your business. From answering the telephone, to meeting clients as they enter the salon through to advising on retail and rebooking for the next appointment - the Front of House Team are key to the success of the salon. To win this Award, you need to demonstrate why your team is the best in the business and what sets them apart from your competitors.

Demonstrate this impact by referencing retail sales, repeat bookings and mystery customer feedback (if available) and all relevant information.
