British hairdressing awards: british hairdresser of the year

British Hairdressing Awards Trophy.jpgThis category is by nomination only. If nominated you will be informed by the end of June 2008 and you will be asked to submit a portfolio of eight photographs and a completed CV.
  • Entries should be supplied with a ‘before’ picture of each model taken on the day of the shoot prior to any hair work makeup or styling.
  • The organisers reserve the right to question any photographs, which appear to be computer enhanced.
  • A standard CV form will be supplied. No attachments are allowed.
  • The CV should include international trade shows (education) with audience figures.
  • An ambassadorial mission statement of no more than 200 words.
  • TV Coverage - covering what, where, channel etc.
  • Press coverage including UK trade, UK consumer, overseas trade, overseas consumer titles.
  • A press book must also be supplied with the CV which can be checked to ensure claims made are true. It must contain all coverage as stated in the CV.
  • The CV must not contain any reference which could identify the entrant.
  • The portfolio of work submitted for British Hairdresser of the Year must be exclusive and must not have been seen by the media or other hairdressers prior to Tuesday 7th October 2008.
  • The portfolio of work must not be published prior to Tuesday 25th November 2008.
