British Hairdresser Of The Year Nominees' Catwalk Shows - #BHA23

The British Hairdressing Awards 2023, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, were held on Monday 27 November at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London, celebrating the brightest stars in our industry.

Hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan, Hairdressers Journal International Executive Director, Jayne Lewis-Orr and Schwarzkopf Professional General Manager UK and Ireland, Julian Crane were also on hand to help announce the winners – all of whom you can check out here.

However, to check out the nominees' catwalk shows from the coveted British Hairdresser of the Year category, click 'view gallery'. The nominees for 2023 were: Darren Ambrose, D&J Ambrose, Richard Ashforth, SACO, Errol Douglas, Errol Douglas Salon, Robert Eaton, Russell Eaton, Gary Hooker & Michael Young, Hooker & Young, Mark Leeson, Mark Leeson, Cos Sakkas, TONI&GUY, and Angelo Seminara. 

Whilst all of these nominees created stunning collections, only one could be crowned British Hairdresser of the Year at the #BHA23 - Cos Sakkas. After accepting his award, Cos said: “Thanks to Jayne, Hairdressers Journal, Julian and Schwarzkopf. This year is TONI&GUY's 60th anniversary; they have truly revolutionised hairdressing. This is the best industry in the world, let's all embrace it."
