British beauty & spa awards: nail professional of the year

Sponsored by Grafton International Entrants can be from a salon or training school, session or freelance background. Entrants need to supply a written entry covering the following: 500 word opening statement

• Detail your career to date, including where you trained, employment history and aims and ambitions for the future – for you personally and/or your business.

In addition to your opening statement, please include the following in your entry

• Three images showcasing the creativity of your nail work with background information for each image.
• A minimum of eight photographs to complete a step-by-step of a complete set of nails. The photographs need to be accompanied by a written technical explanation of each step, and the system you have used and why.
• Evidence of how you have developed other people and / or the wider nail industry in the last 12 months (May 2007 to May 2008).
• Examples of how you have promoted yourself and/or your business in the last 12 months (May 2007 to May 2008).
