Lee Stafford and Andrew Barton brought an injection of London cool to Las Vegas with their Beauty and the Brits class, which took part as part of the 2015 Redken Symposium.
The Brit favourites demonstrated trends in cutting and styling, in an upbeat seminar that showed hundreds of stylists from across the globe just why British hairdressing is considered the world's number one.
Lee opened the show with his versatile cutting technique, the Squeeze. Demonstrating on a model how it can be used to bring layers and movement into long hair of all textures, he also presented three pre-styled models with very different hair types, all of whom had been transformed with the cut. Lee also reiterated the importance of making mistakes and leaning from them to create new concepts.

Next up was Andrew, joined by his group creative director Tracey Gallagher. They talked the audience through six styling trends, covering a range of techniques from classic sets with rollers to avant-garde use of hair extensions. The audience were also treated to a close-up look of Andrew's model from
the opening ceremony, styled with the
new Redken Metal Fix gold gel.
