Brick Lane is well known for its trendy types, so I wasn't surprised to see loads of cool hair styles when I went to the vintage clothes shops on Saturday. There were lots of subtle pastels, sharp bobs and patterned scarves tied in big bows round the head, but one look that really stood out was Alice's - who says Afro hair can't be versatile?

Alice's two-tone updo was the crowning glory to her eclectic, stylish outfit. "I need to use loads of oil on my hair because Afro hair is so dry," she told me. "I love products from Pink."
