Here, Michelle Rooney from Hooker and Young tells us how she got the look. 1. Apply a darker root colour to shadow the roots and show off the texture. 2. Then stretch out through the hair to provide lighter colour through the mid sections. 3. Apply a highlift colour to the midlengths and ends for that ultimate “LA” style. 4. Overlap the hair with bleach pieces to create lightness throughout. 5. Tone the hair and blow-dry, then curl sections of the hair with tongs. Spray with hairspray to create the bouncy, wave effect.
