Big hair continues to reign on the runways

So, next season it seems like we will all be wearing simple styles with the minimum of effort (or at least it will look that way!) However, Vera Wang chose voluminous, textured updos to partner her designs at her Spring/Summer 2011 New York Fashion Week.

It was in stark contrast to the smoother looks we have got used to seeing, and resembled the looks Darren Fowler created for Autumn/Winter's Paul Costelloe show and Toni & Guy's Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck created for Giles this season. Plenty of backcombing, hordes of hairspray and lots of wrist action is required!!
