The Best Hair Looks at Coachella 2024

Published 19th Apr 2024 by Josie Jackson

Festival season has officially kicked off, with hundreds of thousands of celebrities, influences and music lovers all flocking to the Californian desert for weekend one of Coachella 2024, which took place on 12-14 April. With show-stopping performances and outlandish outfits, here are the hair looks that hit the right note, according to Team HJ…

Gwen Stefani is the poster girl for 90s beauty, and her hair during her Coachella 2024 performance didn't disappoint. Harking back to her No Doubt days, the singer wore her iconic space buns in a mohawk. There's 'no doubt' she's still got it. Sorry.

Nothing caught my attention like Doja Cat's set at Coachella - she literally wore nothing but hair. The sheer amount of it on stage was a feast for the eyes, I loved seeing hair take centre stage and the amount of prep was colossal - 400 kilos of hair was sourced and dyed for this performance!

Sabrina Carpenter’s hair was a firm favourite of mine from this year’s Coachella. The big bouncy blonde blowout – by Scott King – did not disappoint at her Coachella debut, and I’m completely obsessed.

I loved everything about Chloe Bailey’s Coachella look – from the outfit to the earrings, and especially the hair. The singer styled her locs in a chunky double braid, which worked as an extra prop in her impressive set.

With her wispy, feathered hair complementing her angelic-inspired ‘fit, Suki Waterhouse’s cut was perfectly styled by @blairhairproject into daliesque layers – making this effortlessly ethereal 70s shag a winning Coachella look.

Although she’s experimented with a few creative colour looks in the past, she always comes back to blonde, and loves all things hydrating and bond building.
