Be a beach babe!

Last Sunday I finally bought my car, I don't want to soundto flash but it's amazing, I'm in love. I finally decided to treat myself forall my hard work, I've been working seven days a week and also as I'm nowdriving back to Somerset once a week to train the staff and see clients in mynew salon, I wanted something safe and comfortable (and fast!)

I was in Somerset on Monday and Tuesday, training and doinga full day of clients. I met with some advertising people about the best way tospread the word about my new salon with papers and radio, I didn't realise howexpensive it is! Welcome to the business world Jamie...

I spent Wednesday and Thursday in Wrexham and Matlockfilming the makeovers for the next couple of episodes of Gok's Fashion Fix. Gokhas been really happy with the makeovers so far. I am so pleased with some ofthe cut and colours, the ladies looked great. One lady's husband didn'trecognise her! It's such an amazing feeling and I can't wait for it to air soyou can all see how fabulous they look. It starts on the 25th of May so staytuned! Friday and Saturday was spent at Errol's and it was a busy day, fullybooked as always.

I'm going to need a relaxing holiday soon. If you're goingaway and are looking for a new style to try out, try messy beach babe waveslike Fearne Cotton. It's so easy to do, just apply a blow dry cream for textureand body, I like Messy Couture from Matrix. Blast your hair dry with your headupside down until it is 80% dry. Using a medium sized round ceramic brush, taketwo-inch sections working from the nape all the way up, wrap the hair from rootto tip around the brush. When wrapped around the brush, hit it with a coldblast from your hairdryer, this will help it set. Repeat this all the way roundyour head. Finish with a good wax for the messy, beach babe look. Make sure youuse a good UV protective spray when you're out in the sun; your hair needslooking after as well as your skin.

Next week I'm doing a show for Matrix for the Colour Mastersand also going to have dinner with the Terry Calvert for a catch up and talkabout the Power Night he is doing for the Fellowship that I've agreed to helphim with. Another busy week ahead!

Big love xx
