Banbury postiche launch cbd range to soothe skin after chemotherapy Banbury Postiche, the wig making supplies company, has enhanced its range with the launch of a CBD range designed to ease irritation caused by chemotherapy treatments. Combining the naturally soothing and hydrating properties of Aloe Vera with the anti-inflammatory benefits of CBD, the new range is created to soothe the dry and itchy skin irritations many experience after having chemotherapy or radiation treatments. The richly hydrating CBD Aloe Vera Moisturiser features a number of active ingredients, alongside the fortifying CBD, and is designed to provide long-lasting hydration to soothe and smoothen sensitive skin. The Vanilla and Lavender Bath Bomb allows you to immerse yourself in a CBD cocoon, while the luxuriant scents of vanilla and lavender, alongside the aromatic salts and essential oils, leave skin feeling soft and reinvigorated. “A number of our customers have fed back that one of the main side effects of their chemotherapy was extreme skin dryness, particularly on the head, so as we have been manufacturing wigs for more than a century and with many of them being used by people undergoing cancer treatments, it was a natural progression for us to develop these skincare products. With this in mind we set out not only to incorporate the benefits of CBD oil, but to add other nourishing plant oils, including Aloe Vera, and having spent a number of months tweaking formulas we are delighted to offer these two products that will help provide additional relief for those who need it most,” says the wig making company. The Banbury-based business is a partner of The Little Princess Trust, the Hereford-based charity supplying real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment.
