After the excitement of reopening
subsides,
Balmain recognises that sustained partnership support will be of paramount importance. The brand has put in place a host of measures to assist salons in generating new revenue streams, increasing existing revenue, revitalising retail sales and upskilling.
Revitalise retail - window dressing
Balmain has developed a post-lockdown specific program focusing on salon partners achieving buoyant retail sales. This is a comprehensive package consisting of display material, point of sale signage, and premium retail products. Expert advice on shopper psychology highlights the roles played by buying points, consumer triggers, and clever merchandising. This support and information can be delivered via a webinar, or in person by Balmain account managers, and is all free of charge.
Promotion commotion
Throughout the months of April, May and June, Balmain Hair is running a gorgeous gift with purchase promotion to stimulate the brand’s Care & Styling retail sales. Gifting an exclusive handmade hair accessory with all its associated kudos for clients purchasing two or more care or styling products will inevitably bring Balmain back to the forefront of fashion conscious consumers’ minds, and significantly increase sales and associated profits.
Revenue streams
Hair extensions have a mainstream appeal in modern times, and can be relied upon to bring additional clients and profits to salons. A significant part of Balmain Hair’s heritage and business, the brand has made the unprecedented decision to forward produce and forward buy extension hair in bulk. This commitment to the continued success of the hair industry means that cost savings are passed on to salons, and consequently they can then offer Balmain Hair extensions at enticing prices. The ultimate aim of the move is that more clients equals more revenue, equals more profits. Balmain’s in-depth and free online education program content covers Rings, Tape, Pre-bonded, Wefts and the superfast system, Systeme Volume. This enhanced price and education offer is open to all salons, not just Balmain partner salons.
Spa quality
Hairstyles have suffered in the various lockdowns, and for clients in England April 12 can’t come soon enough (lucky Scotland and Wales!). Seizing the opportunity to provide extra TLC by introducing a scintillating Spa Treatment experience at the backwash makes good business sense. Balmain Hair’s tailor made Back Bar Display Stand looks the part and holds products delivering a deluxe client experience. These can be supplied free of charge from the Balmain Hair marketing team.
Educate, educate, educate
Balmain Bitesize is the snappily titled online training and support package presented by a team of Master Educators and Brand Ambassadors, and delivered in a dynamic and digestible format. This kicks off with a four-night focus from 6 - 9 April, as a timely countdown to action stations on the 12th. Award winning stylist and salon owner Simon Tuckwell will host
Behind the Chair, covering cutting, colouring, forthcoming trends and other aspects of the craft. This event can be viewed on both webinar platform and Facebook and will be fully interactive. Simon will be taking questions, and asking for suggestions for future Bitesize topics.
