Baja east spring/summer 2015: get the hair look

Kevin Ryan created textured looks for both male and female models at the Baja East Spring/Summer 2015 show at New York Fashion Week. The show: Baja East Spring/Summer 2015 The hair team: Kevin Ryan for Unite The look: An undone braid for the girls and a textured look for the boys. The inspiration: Well travelled girls and boys – with a strong nod to Peter Lindbergh's photos. Lived-in but beautiful hair; a pristine blow-dry which has come undone by living life to the fullest. The key product: Unite Expanda Dust Get the Look 1. Spray Unite Expanda Volume on damp hair at the roots and add Unite Beach Day through the ends. 2. Blow-dry hair, creating volume at the front of the crown. 3. Once dry, backcomb at the roots to create additional volume and texture. 4. Gather all of the hair at the base of the neck and twist into a loose bun. 5. Using a hook, pull sections of hair out of the bun to create a braid in reverse. 6. Continue to pull out hair until it is loosely braided down the centre of the back. 7. Once braid is complete, sprinkle and massage Unite Expanda Dust through the roots to create an 'oily' texture to counterbalance the dryness of the ends and build more volume. 8. Finish the look by spraying lots of Unite Tricky Spray, a spray wax, to the front roots and throughout the braid. Work in with the fingers for matte shine and texture. Get the Look - Men's 1. Wash hair with GO247 Mint Thickening Shampoo, then apply GO247 Hair Gel. 2. Blast hair with the dryer until completely dry, creating volume at the front of the crown. 3. Once totally dry, back-comb at the roots to create additional volume and texture. 4. Apply GO247 Texture Paste to the fingers and roughly rake through the hair, from roots to ends. 5. Use GO247 Soft Wax through the roots to create a worn-in texture to counterbalance the dryness of the ends and build more volume and lift. 6. Finish the look by spraying GO247 Control Spray throughout to add texture and hold.
