Schwarzkopf Professional recently celebrated its collaboration with the 2024 BAFTA Television Awards, as the official Hair Partner. As part of Schwarzkopf Professional’s “Partners in Craft” initiative, this collaboration provided a platform for talented UK stylists to showcase their expertise on one of the most prestigious red carpets in the entertainment industry.
The event, which took place on Sunday 12 May at the Royal Festival Hall in London, featured a team of eight hairstylists. They transformed the appearances of numerous high-profile guests, ensuring they were red carpet ready with the help of Schwarzkopf Professional's acclaimed OSiS styling range.
The talented team included Philipp Haug (Haug London Haus), Cat Cleland (November Collective), Julian Marques (Haug London Haus), Inanch Emir (Inanch London), Marzena Cielen (Billi Currie), Fiona Breary (Rick Roberts Hair), Eden Thomson (Room 23), Melania Galeano (Melania Hair and Beauty), and Dan Joy (Haug London Haus).
Philipp Haug, the lead hairstylist and Schwarzkopf Professional Ambassador, shared his enthusiasm about the collaboration: “Working with BAFTA was an exhilarating experience that allowed us to push creative boundaries and work with amazing talent from across the UK. It was a privilege to lead such a dedicated team and showcase their exceptional skills.”
Corinna Juergens, Brand Manager at Schwarzkopf Professional, commented: “We are passionate about creating opportunities that elevate hairdressing talent and allow them to shine. Our collaboration with BAFTA was a testament to this, offering our stylists the chance to be part of something truly special.”
Cat Cleland from November Collective expressed: “Having an opportunity like this was incredible. It was very different from salon work and allowed me to be more creative with my styling. You have to think differently because it’s not just about a beautiful blow dry; it’s about a style that has to look perfect for 12 hours straight!”
The BAFTA style suite saw the likes of Ellie Simmonds and Lou Teasdale.
