Backstage at the london college of fashion show ma show

I had a great day at the V&A Museum heading up the hair styling team for the London College of Fashion MA Show on 27 January, sponsored by Wella Professionals.

What fantastic creativity and talent amongst the fashion students who put so much hard work into their collections!

We took one of SS10 trends - bed-head braids - and worked with dishevelled plaits for a contemporary, lived-in feel.

For one of the collections which featured a rainbow of space age outfits, we pre-cut a range of brightly coloured wigs to match each dress, which made for a really high impact show.

The team which included Peter Prosser, Dan Spiller, Angela Dolan, Claire Chell, Kai Wan, Ruth Mettram, Trend Vision Young Talent Winner Angello Vallillo and HOB's Wella Trend Vision UK Colour 2009 Winner, Lindsay Grossman - were great and it was a privilege to see the looks the future stars of fashion created to take to the stage.
